Boston Day 13
Had a special guest speak Patty who wrote our Mentoring module text to come talk to us with the accompaniment of Sue Sharples with her. It was an honour to have her although class was so tedious in the morning!
Anyway, we got snaps with Sue whom we missed dearly since the previous term when she came over to Singapore to teach us our modules. Crapped with Kar, Issy and Chiok with their Americano styles and Yo yo yo... MJ in the house.. haha.
Then we had a luncheon by Joan which was held to get feedback from us about the present living conditions in the dorn and how we were coping in school. Felt good that the school was really so concerned for our welfare, but there were certain things that I wasn't really that happy about. I mean, there are some things that were not told to all students and how can certain people just assume that every one would know everything? DUH. But well, shan't point fingers here as we are respondible for ourselves..
so... we'll move on to happy things such as the school celebrating a surprise party for Gladys! How sweet and here she was being sung the Birthday Song to. =)
Headed out that night and we went out to town to grab dinner and a few things. It has been colder and colder these few days and I really regreat not bringing the trenchcoats that baby had bought for me to bring. It was so cold that our breath could turn to vapour the moment we opened our mouths to speak.
Anyway, we decided that tonight would be a GF night and we would all paint our nails and gather in a girly time while waiting for the laundry. So we all ran down to level four in the dorm after we got back and started doing our nails. Ahh.. it was fun spending time with the girls. Love em! Ps.. Lala, Usa and I have now become the official walking sirens as we scream everytime we cross roads here. No idea why Boston traffic is so complicating. LOL.. AHHHHHHH!
