French Cuisine - Au Petit Salut

Saturday Leisure Brunch

This would definitely be a nice place to check out for a nice date or family lunch/dinner. I was awed by the intimate setting which was close to nature, and of course the allure of food. Besides having Ala Carte, they had set menu's which were very worth the while at only 38++ for a 3 course and drink (Which was what we had today). Here are some of the things that were palette pleasing and worth to try on Dempsy Hill. So what say you?

Half Dozen Baked Burgundy Snails With Tomato & Garlic Butter

Slow Braised Beef Cheeks, Potato Espuma, Rhubarb Compote

Pan Seared Onglet Beef Served With Shallot Confit & French fries

Sticky Date Pudding With Caramel & Vanilla Ice Cream

Tarte de Jour & Yogurt Sorbet

Crème Brulée Infused With Fresh Madagascar Vanilla Beans

There is nothing more to explain about the food as it is, obviously, a very powerful spread. It was affordable and worth the expense as fresh ingredients used just overflowed in flavours present in all dishes that were served today. A wonderful experience for me and I would love to Alfresco there once more.

I could not find the exact address, but the branch that I went to was at Dempsy Hill. It is a little off P.S Cafe. Anyway, you can also visit their branch at Holland V. Enjoy!
