Travel Japan: Hakone

Mount Fuji Part 2

The morning before leaving to Tokyo, we were awakened to an unexpected site. This was Fuji, FROM MY ROOM WINDOW!

The moment I saw this, I was screaming at Jon to wake up and I ran next door to wake the other two. Jer was all dazzed when she opened the door, but the moment I said, "MOUNT FUJI OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW!" She immediately 'woke up' and called mum which ended up with all of us stumbling to the window. GORGEOUS?

So after getting up, what more could I ask for then a nice warm bath in the Onsen. We had a cosy outdoor and indoor bath where we could see Sakura trees just outside the vicinity.

But that was not all, we were in for the next surprise! The Cherry Blossoms were in FULL BLOOM. It was really double happiness cause we did not expect to see nice Sakura anymore since the one's in the other areas that we had visited were all on the verge of shedding all it's flowers. But here, due to the weather, we were able to catch what full blooms were like. LUCKY STARS!

So this was what Mount Fuji looked like from the lake. Ain't it just majestic. *CRIES* The park that was surrounding the lake was also awesome with come cultural artifacts in it as well as a Gem museum just opposite the road.

So we then left the lake and it was a pleasant surprise that our driver than brought us to a Sakura garden where he knew we could get a good view of them place! Here we were in the park having fun with together with our friend Lin.

But after all that nonsense we were doing as pure Singaporean's we then had to say good bye to Fuji.. It was time for TOKYO! So we went on....................... I shall update the next issue ASAP! Stay tuned for fashion and babe galore~
